What CPU are you rockin' in your system? Currently, I'm rockin' a AMD FX-6300. Definitely not the best, but it does a damn good job.

I'm currently running an i7-4790k at standard clock speed with an NZXT Kraken X61 Cooler.

Given that I'm on a laptop, I have an Intel i5 4200M, which runs at 2.50 Ghz. It really suits all my gaming needs at the moment, and I don't think I'll need to upgrade soon. My GPU, also a mobile card, is the one that's bugging me off, though, because it only has 2 gb of virtual memory, and that means that I get random freezes in open-world games. Still, I think that it's a great system, and I don't have that many difficulties in playing the newest games around.

I own the i3 5th generation core processor. One of my friend ownes the current popular series of the i7 core processor has the i7-7920HQ processor. And that processor seems to have 4 cores, 8 threads and 8MB cache. So this can be a good powerful processor for the consoles. Not sure how many console makers want to make use of the system like this. It's interesting to see the new processors being cheap too.

My computer is branded one and it has Intel Core i5 6400 @ 2.70GHz, which I am quite happy with. I don't really need the latest CPUs for the games that I tend to play. Even the latest games that are demanding specs wise, I manage to run at a decent quality. Not in high settings but medium or so.

I know that some people need those high FPS and crystal clear graphics but I am not too bothered.

I don't really play on my PC and laptop. I have always preferred the PlayStation. I find it much easier to play on there and find it to be more fun. Concerning my laptop's the specifications are: Intel I5 7200U (2.5 GHz), display 15.6 (1920 * 1080).

I got the Intel i7 7700K @ 4.2 GHz on Corsair H100i water cooler. Haven't really been much into overclocking it but I could probably get up to 4.5 pretty easily. It's stock clock speed is good enough for me though like it's been pairing wicked nicely with my GPU.

Currently I have an Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake 7th Generation, 8MB Cache, 3.6GHz (4.2GHz Max Turbo), LGA 1151 Intel HD Graphics BX80677I77700. I am very happy with this model at the moment.

I was with this model last year. It really is a very good processor. I just traded because I decided to buy an I7. If it were not for that, I would still have this model in use.

i3240 is really on the low end, but it runs games fine so I mostly focused on the graphics cards and additional storage space for games. Pretty good so far, and I don't even have to overclock anything to run most games these days at 60 FPS.

AMD A6-1450 (1.0 GHz) ... Hehe  I feel like I'm showing my weetle VW Beetle to all the big boys showing off their monster trucks.

I'm using an laptop currently. Was travelling quite a bit and moving countries a while back. When I was computer shopping, the actual size of the computer was more important than computing power. This is the most I can afford that is still lightweight, 11' and not a tablet. Will only consider purchasing a more powerful computer once I've settled in a bigger property with enough space for a desktop.

Yes you are right. I am quite satisfied with it. The only bad thing is that I cannot really play games on it as my laptop gets overheated very quickly.

I'm using an AMD FX-6300, like the OP. It was less than 100 dollars and it does a decent job playing the stuff that I'm interested in playing. I wouldn't opt for it if I had lots of money, of course, but most people aren't in that situation.
