Do you go to the gym? If so, how long have you been going? What do you usually do there? Do you have a routine or do you just kind of do a bit of everything? :p

I try and go a couple times a week, and I am following a program that will bulk me up for college.

I'm "supposed" to go if that counts? :p No I do not go to the gym, simply because there is not one around us nor can I squeeze out the tiny bit of motivation I have for actually doing any of the workouts. I'd love to go bike riding, once I get a bike. Other than that, I stay home and exercise my mind with the power of the internet. :D

I intend to start soon, I do basics at home and around local parks (running/jogging, riding bike, dumbbell training, sit ups and press ups, general HIIT, etc), but I want to get involved with swimming more and other stuff in the gym.

I currently can only go twice a week due to time constraints however I plan on upping that to three or four within a few weeks when my schedule opens up. I do have a program that I follow. Recently I've been focusing on core and shoulder stability trying to rebuild a solid base after having a pneumothorax in February which required surgery, completely crippling the left side of my body for several weeks.

Back when I did Shodokan Aikido I'd go to the gym, mind you that was about 4 years ago. Haven't been since... oops. My family did own one of those massive gym sets which I used like twice a month, does that count?

I have a gym membership... but I work out more at home than at the gym.

I don't attend any local gym, I used to go to the local fighting academy for boxing and martial arts but I tend to just train and workout at home now.

There's a huge LA Fitness centre literally right across the street from my apartment, but I've got my own barbell set, dumbbell set, and a yoga mat. I just use that and it works fine for me.

Right when I graduated college I went to the gym everyday. It does not take long to start initially seeing results. Keeping up the motivation to keep going is another issue. I find it is best to go with another person at the same time everyday so you get in a routine. It is also good to make sure that the other person is of similar physical physique to you. This makes sure that you both can do the same work out.

My high school chum is a manager of a classy gym. She has been offering me a big discount and sometimes a coupon for free sessions. But I had never accepted her offers because I don't have time to spend time in the gym. After work, I have to hurry home to handle the chores on our food. The traffic here is horrendous so instead of adding stress in going to the gym, I leave for home early to avoid the heavy traffic. And another reason is that I don't feel comfortable to exercise when there are other people around. So my exercise is the basics that I can do inside our bedroom in the morning before taking my breakfast.

My membership expired last year and I think I've been using it as an excuse not to go. I can easily go in and change my payment so that the service is renewed. It's like $10/month so there really is no excuse. They have free personal training sessions once a month and unlimited classes. The locker rooms are huge. They have a tanning room and a message chairs. I was right to open this post because I do need to get myself to the gym and get my fitness on! The nights I go are never crowded. oh yeah, I gotta get back to the gym asap.

Yes I do, I feel terrible when I don't work out at least 2-3 times a week. I just feel like I have no energy and I stop caring about my diet too. My current gym membership is pretty expensive so I feel guilty when I don't go. The gym is the perfect place for me to unwind, take my mind off other things, and catch up on podcasts, so that's why I'm motivated to go.

I go every now and then, but I mainly focus on my cardio. I play basketball and ride my mountain bike 3 to 4 days a week and that workout works for me. I was never a big weightlifting fan. Cardio and push ups are enough for me.

Yes I do , its been a part of my routine since the 5 years but unlike other regular gyms , my gym is a open space and its my farm. The work i do in my farm itself is like a workout for me and I have been farming for five years for now and all the working in farming has helped me to stay fit and healthy.
