Is there a meaning behind your forum name?

Just a thought, mine has a bit of a meaning as it's linked to a game so i was wondering if anyones name on here had some special meaning or backstory.

I've went by a few names, and then when they added 3 letter names on TTG i chose Voi. Reason being it's the name of a town in the Halo Universe: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Voi

I go by two, Guardian or Sawedoff.

Started using the name Sawedoff when someone started calling me that IRL, because apparently I reminded them of a sawed-off shotgun. (I'm short). I liked the name...

Started using Guardian when Sawedoff was taken on a forum I tried joining, and I was in the Marine Corps and I spent a lot of time on guard duty, so it came to mind and I've stuck with it.

I used to play a lot of minigames and used "Hugo" as nickname.
Some of them were games for 2players and had P1 or P2 on the name(which means "Hugo P1" as name)
The first onlinegame I played had the name "Hugo" taken, that is why I chosed "HugoP1"
Some of the games dont accept numbers on the name and "HugoP1"/"Hugop1" sounds like a name for a non main character/user.

Now it seems everyone has some long standing meaning to their name and i just ripped mine from a game :D

I go by an array of names which are all Bench :)

i was on a site a while ago called gamingcentral and i was wearing bench jeans so yeahh.... just kinda went with that

i must get some points for creativity haha

Yeah, but I bet you rarely (if ever) have the problem of having to choose a different name because its taken. I run into that fairly often with Guardian, and more surprisingly still with Sawedoff.

Wow Voi I am a big halo fan and never knew that town was called Voi. I use to be "JeTa" I got that from the Volkswagen Jetta haha. I always went as Toxic or Toxxic on other forums and Xbox so when I was at Lowes once (It's a large hardware store) I saw a container that said Toxique on it. So I googled it and it turns out that's French for toxic.

A friend of mine randomly typed something on a keyboard and turned out to be "Squizls" and for some reason I love the name :D

Most forum names evolve around the genre of the forum. For example: ForumPromotion.net..you promote your forum. InfinityForums.net..you talk about anything on the forums. If most forum names that have an adjective before the word "Forums," it's most likely a general discussion forum; that doesn't always happen.

Mine would be my last name (Connor Rugman) just sounded sorta short and snappy.
