I like Twitch, Like the whole being able to interact with Viewers and makes the whole thing a better experience.
However for on demand things Youtube is better in that regard.

I've never really used Twitch other than once. I think I like Youtube because I can enjoy several videos easily within a short amount of time. I do like how with Twitch you can communicate with the viewers and such though!

I prefer Twitch as well. I don't stream, but do watch a lot of streams. I find the quality is generally better on Twitch and it is easier to interact with the person streaming. I do miss how easily YouTube integrated steaming though.

I prefer Twitch as the point of it is to interact with your audience which I think is great an unique. I used to stream myself and I feel that it is a lot more fun than creating videos. It also requires no editing really which means a lot more people can do it than create YouTube videos.

It would depend on what I am watching. If I want to watch a live stream, I would prefer to be on Twitch. They have a relatively good system of connecting the audience with the person streaming. However, if I just want to watch a Let's Play, I prefer YouTube. It is not only more convenient, but it also runs a lot smoother on my computer. It take roughly 10 seconds for a video to load far enough to avoid buffering on YouTube while it take several minutes on Twitch.

Love your avi! I just imagined that scene all over again. LOL. :joyful:

Anywho, another vote for Twitch from me. YouTube has really been tap-dancing on my last nerve lately with all of the forced watching of ads and whatnot. And I hate that they upped the amount of ads they force us to watch while simultaneously releasing YouTube Red, the paid site that doesn't have commercials. Very sneaky and I will not be supporting that. I hope YT Red goes down in fiery flames, never to be heard of again. :punch: A little dramatic perhaps, LOL, but I hate when companies do things like that.

Wow, I forgot about ads. I had noticed a lot more ads, but didn't realize it coincided with the release of YouTube Red. To be honest, I don't think YT Red will do that well. I've heard that they're method of determining YouTuber's pay isn't too effective which is sure to cause a lot of complaints from users and viewers. I just hope they don't try to push it too much. There are only so many ads I can take and I don't want to use AdBlock for the gamer's sake.

I'm stuck in the middle, actually. I've done both, more Twitch streaming than Youtube, and I like the feel of having a live audience you can immediately interact with. It kind of makes you feel like you're on television, except you get the extra bonus of talking to the people watching you, and doing things with them if you so decide. But Youtube gives you a little more freedom and time, you do it on your own time, and you choose what people get to see. You can edit as much as you like, unlike twitch, where it happens in front of everyone.

I have used both. Twitch restricts your res like i can stream in 1080p with youtube but with twitch you got to pay to unlock that feature.

If you want to watch live stream, Twitch is more suitable. Youtube is a place for videos that aren't recorded real-time. At least, in my opinion.

I spend my days watching YouTube videos. I prefer YouTube over Twitch. YouTube videos are more polished. What I mean by that is YouTube videos are usually edited, which makes them a faster paste and cuts out all the boring parts. I'm also not very into live streams. They take to long. But every now and then I feel like watching one and I go straight to Twitch. Bottom line is that YouTube is better for edited, pre-recorded videos, while Twitch is the place to go for life streams. I just happen to prefer edited videos, but that's just me.

Twitch for me. It's like TV for games. I'd much rather watch a live tournament on twitch, for instance, than watch the VOD which is later uploaded to youtube. Of course it has a purpose, and most twitch streamers have an youtube channel as well, but watching something live with an audience of fellow gamers is just more fun than watching an youtube VOD. In the end, you don't really have to choose between the two of them - they're both good for different purposes.

Personally, I prefer Youtube because I don't like having to sit and wait for the streamers game to start or if the streamer has to leave for a few minutes because with Youtube obviously all that is cutout.

I prefer Twitch for live streams but I'm onto youtube if I want humorous game plays as there's a lot of them there. There's a couple in twitch that I like who's pretty funny but it's more of a hit and miss in my experience. Youtube contents are usually pre-recorded videos that had the bad parts cut out to make the laughs consistent, so I tend to visit youtube a lot more often.

I like Twitch way more than Youtube for streams. I think that there's just no real competition. There isn't anybody that can currently come close to Twitch. They have developed and marketed their platform so well. They have all the big streamers. Which famous streamer does YouTube have? I can't think of any. So, if you want any proper gameplay or if you want to watch the famous professional players from various teams you will have to use Twitch. They are all streaming via it and even have contracts that tie them to it.

Also the whole interface, visibility, ... is way better on Twitch. It is really easy to look through the games that are being streamed, find the streamers or VODs. YouTube design is bit weird and confusing. They don't even show the streams based on views - if you go to their ''Live'' section you can see two streamers next to each other and one has 2 viewers and other 2,000? it makes no sense and you don't even have the option to view them based on the amount of viewers.

YouTube is only better if you prefer watching videos.

People love watching other people playing game these days, by the way I'm one of them. I don't know which one is getting better points but I prefer YouTube because they have more personalized interface. About twitch, they directly shows you recent videos and top live streams but YouTube is more comprehensive, they basically allow you to use filters for specific content. I guess most of the people are gonna choose YouTube.
