RE: Toby's Interview

If I could logically prove to you that nothing physical in this world exists would you believe me?

Yes I would, but you won't be able to. For the simple reason that it goes against logic itself to prove that.

Started Watching Death Note. Enjoying it so far.
Watching an English Dubbed version so translations are probably off but i'm still understanding what's going on :)

Well more like the ending scene, or the last 20 mins or so of the last episode. ( Every Death Note fan loves the Japanese version )

RE: Toby's Interview

I would like to start off by establishing some basic facts so that everybody is on the same page.
First: Infinity does not exist in nature.
Second: Something physical must be made up of something else.

First: Infinity exists within time, which is also a part of the natural order.
Second: Physical means something we can lay our hands on, it doesn't have to be made of something.

RE: Toby's Interview

I'd like to "add something" your first argument.
Infinity doesn't exist in nature as far as how modern science perceives the universe. We can very easily consider time as infinite. As we simply do not know if it has a beginning and/or end. Time could've existed before the big bang in a way we don't quite understand. But aside from that. It's just better for you to include that it doesn't exist by how we perceive nature and the universe.

RE: Toby's Interview

I'll clarify what I mean.
First: As Voi days infinity doesn't exist by how we perceive nature and the universe.
Second: For something to exist and be touchable it must be made of something else touchable because, otherwise it would either be untouchable or it wouldn't exist.

RE: Toby's Interview

Some pretty deep and philosophical questions being discussed so I'm going to go ahead and ask a pretty simple question..

What is your favorite color? :3

I've been inactive for some time (sorry!) and I think I may try to be more active so if you have a question feel free to ask me.

Personally I would say that the chicken came first, from evolution. (Then again, it depends on what kind of egg you are referring to, if its ANY egg then the egg came first as in fish and dinosaurs.)
