What is your favorite free-to-play game?

There are lots of them indeed. Dota 2 or League of Legends have tons of fans, but I'm not into MOBA games. If I should select one, maybe the one which I played more was a MMORPG, Tera online, that game has amazing graphics, cool characters and a style of gameplay more like a hack and slash than a classical "point and click" MMORPG.

I hate MOBAs, Hate em with a passion now. I played the Dota Mod for a long time and then League of Legends when it was still in closed Beta. Now LoL has one of the worst gaming communities I have ever seen and I just cant get into Dota 2 like I did the mod. maybe its because with the Dota map It was simply that, a map for an RTS game that I could then just go and play a regular game when I got tired of it.

As for my favorite free 2 play game, I cant decide between Team Fortress 2 and Path of Exile.

I have enjoyed playing Kingdom of amalur it was a good game and get about 48 hours of free gaming than have to buy it, is had some good features and was well made and the environment in the game was nice. The first boss was not that challenging, was a ogre or troll and was slow as well and was able to know what it was doing in the fight. The game has some choices like, where you can get a women into the temple area or leave that and also helping a person and getting cure some choices were complex and hard at times and it did affect the game later on.

I would definitely have to say League of Legends or Hearthstone. Both are really really good free to play games. And of course they're entirely different genres so how could you compare. Another great free to play game would be Team Fortress 2. That game supplied me with hours of fun, just not as much as LoL or Hearthstone.

My favourite F2P game is World of Tanks. It's a really fun game, but it's hard to master. The best part of the game is that it isn't pay to win, it's pay to progress faster. I've played over 2000 battles in this game and I still find it fun. Another good feature is that they have a unified account. That means your gold from World of Tanks is connected with World of Warplanes and World of Warships (when it comes out)

I love Team Fortress 2. It's fast, fun, and good to play with friends. It doesn't take a monster of a rig to run. Also, even if you pay for stuff, it doesn't guarantee that you will win. Also, there's a thriving trade community and market which is fantastic to partake in or even just observe. I highly recommend this game for some quick, fun games, and who knows, it might just become an addition like other Valve games! I'm looking at you, Counter Strike.

League of Legends is a pretty popular one. I'd probably have to go with this too mainly because I just can't get enough of it! A lot of my buddies play the game too, which is one of the reasons why I continue to play. The skins aren't mandatory to buy, but it's kind of a way for you to support the game. But it's still a free to play game!

If SWTOR counts, I'll say that. But I don't know if I can count it because I do sub to it.
Other than that League is the F2P game that takes up the next highest amount of my time

I'd personally say that it would be Blacklight for me. I love the style they have and I feel it is something nice and somewhat unique for the FPS genre

I was the same way about MOBA's didn't care, didn't / couldn't get into it. Heroes of the storm was pushed on me by a friend. Sure enough, I've enjoyed it a ton, because it takes a lot of the hated elements from MOBA's and removes them. So really it's just strictly a skill based PVP game.

My current favourite is Dirty Bomb. TF2 fused with CS:GO, it's great. There's only one downside to it though, it's being developed by Nexon which doesn't have a great history with their games, any other company and chances are I would have already put a fair amount of money into it.

I'd have to go with Hearthstone and League of Legends. I've been spending most of my time playing those two games.

Hearthstone may look boring to some people, but to others it's really fun. For those of you who don't know, it's basically a card game where you try to kill your enemy. It's sort of like Yu-Gi-Oh in a way, but a lot better.

As for LoL, I'm sure most, if not, all of you know about it.

Mine's between LoL and Smite. League is so ridiculously replayable with all of the characters and combinations of teams, and it makes it possible to play the game for years without diminishing returns on the amount of fun you have. Smite is similar in this respect, I haven't played it in a while but the reason I like it so much is because of the way it plays. Third person 'shooter' where all your attacks are skillshots but the game is a MOBA, need I say more?

A large group of friends and I were addicted to a web based game called Glitch for quite a while. It ended up shutting down rather suddenly. A few spin offs are being created and we hope one of them actually takes off. Basically you got to dress your character up, create a house, have pets, socialize. It was very relaxing and laid back. I miss it a ton!
