I will go with World of Warcraft. This sucker has drainer 6 years of my life and still counting. Not regretting it though, it's been a nice ride and still is. Wish I could decide what class to play...decisions, decisions...
Did you get into dota? Or always just the direct wow only? I love to find dota 1 players every now and again. Its nice to find people who knew what dota was before it was so massive. Played it and worked out all the kinks before it went live for itself

League of Legends. Been playing it for about 4 years, now.

Probably League of Legends for me. So many times have I walked away from the keyboard ready to quit, but then I get pulled back in. It really is a ton of fun and I don't see myself letting it go anytime soon. It is the only game that has beaten the test of time for me, everything else just loses it's charm and freshness eventually.

The one game that I am truly unable to stop playing, and by all means am addicted to, is Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World.

My vote would definitely be for Civ V too! No matter how many games I play they're always different and all very enjoyable. I haven't quite put in your number of hours, I have put in about 300 hours of game-play so far. I haven't even fully finished games as half of the civs and haven't quite wracked up the nerve to play on Diety yet (after getting wrecked on my first time playing Immortal) so I'm sure I'll be putting countless more hours into it.

I'm also a huge fan of strategy games and Civ has to be my absolute favourite, I love being able to control a Civ and interacting with all the AIs whether it is completely crushing their cities or just trading resources. There's no feeling like completely steamrolling leaders like Atilla and Shaka.

The game that I cannot stop playing is Civilization V. I think it is partially because the game is turned based, so I just keep playing turn after turn, not thinking that one turn will take up so much time. I end up playing for eight hours straight sometimes. It is borderline unhealthy, as I have not moved from my chair since lunchtime. However, the game is also extremely replayable, as you are pitted against a different leader everything single time. Plus, sometimes I play with friends, and that is also super fun, and takes it even more time as humans cannot process turns as fast as computers. Despite the fact that it has nearly sucked all of my time, I still recommend Civilization V to anybody. You should totally check it out.

Civ V.

It's not that I play it all the time, really I don't play it that often. It's just that as long as it has been out I have played it. And even now, when the new one came out, I still pop on and play Civ V.

I'm sure that if you're a gamer you have one or two games that you can't stop playing, like for example you got a game six month ago or even a year or more and you still play it almost every day, because it is so fun. I would say that one of those games for me would be Osu!, because I've playing it for a long time and it still didn't get boring for me, it's still fun. What about you, do you have any games likes this?
Yes yes a thousand times YES! I LOVE this game! I had to take an unfortunate 5-month hiatus due to my old dell laptop croaking on me, so then my sis decided to let me use her old laptop until I can buy a new one. And now that I'm back into osu! I can't stop! It's the 6+ hours a day addiction all over again hahahaha xD

Okay now that my fangirling is over, what's your ign? Here is mine: https://osu.ppy.sh/u/2264338

I'd probably have to go with the one and only Minecraft! I know it's been a really long time since they released a new update, but I still find the game to be very enjoyable, especially when playing other people. I tend to join faction servers that are highly populated. It's a lot of fun to build and enchant weapons just to raid other people.

I have to say.. Garry's Mod. I find the game better than Minecraft and it is so enjoyable with all its wacky stuff! I'm saving up and buying a legit copy.

Skyrim. There's no limit to how much you can mod the game into something completely different. Until I see TES VI, Skyrim stays on top.

I've purchased the game 3 times (when it came out, again with Legendary edition, and finally with TES Anthology). I do not regret a single purchase. It's one of those games that can keep you hooked for hours, but the difficulty is really determined by you. It's definitely worth the buy should you ever be on the fence about it.

I'm thinking about to buy it sometime, I'm going to watch some gameplay about it and see if I want to get it.

Star Wars: The Old Republic.
I have been a fan since day 1 of this game, and haven't been able to stay away from it for very long. I love the IP, and I love MMO's. I couldn't have asked for a better game to be honest. While there have been times when the community has responded negatively to it, I still love it, and I still remain subbed to it

I loved that game when it game out. I love the feel of game play, and the way everything is voiced acted. They did an incredible job making it. However, I started to loose interested when it went free to play. I find the changes made to the game where, for the worst :(

Regarding the Question in the OP, I always go back to two games:
Fable - One of my very first games every played, and one of my all time favourites. Fable and Fable: The lost chapters will always have a spot in my heart. It is a real shame it's sequels did not live up to it's name. I still continue to play this game to this very day once in a while. The amount of times it has been played by me are countless!

World of Warcraft - I started playing in late vanilla. Going in and out of subscription. I played the most during Wrath of the Lich King which will probably be my favourite expansion. Mostly because of the lore. The story of Arthus is one of my favourites in the warcraft universe. I do not play it as of right now, but I'm sure a few months time I might job back into it for a little while. I normally always do.

Yeah, a lot of people felt the same as you @Jordan when the F2P dropped. Personally I did let my sub lapse here and there, but now I am back into it full-on and I just can't get enough.

I cannot stop playing Garry's Mod and Hitman: Bloody Money. There is something about that game that just makes me wanna play it more. I still play in awe while I never had that "PC" gaming experience. It was one of the games that my friend bought me and he also bought Portal so.. I wish i could play it but.. this LAPTOP doesn't have enough space. I need to buy a afterglow cause I like playing with a controller :p
